“The establishment of Baan Phu Waan was to respond to the policy of the Catholic Church that assigned  the local Church the role to promote and support the organization of meetings, seminars, and courses to increase the knowledge of the Christian teachings, theology, spirituality, and general academic subjects as well as to understand new social issues in order to improve the skills of pastoral services and evangelization for all sectors of the Church, and for the society both at the local level and internationally”
